Jamie Rosenfeld, Founder and Co-Director

Jamie Rosenfeld has worked as an arts administrator and educator for over a decade at the Whitney Museum and the Hood Museum of Art. Jamie holds a Bachelor’s in Italian Studies and Art History from Middlebury College and has received a Master’s in Leadership in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education. As Co-Director of rePlay Arts, Jamie oversees programming and marketing, and loves working with groups and making the arts accessible to people of all ages.

When Jamie is not at rePlay Arts, she is enjoying all the Upper Valley has to offer with her 2.5 year-old daughter, husband, and 2 adorable pups. She especially loves swimming and you can often find her in the Connecticut River even during the winter! She is an avid needlepointer, loves to tap dance, and is obsessed with all things pink and glitter! She is attempting to taste every maple cremeee and cider donut in Vermont and loves giving out recs.

Melanie Adsit, Founder and Co-Director

Melanie Adsit has over 20 years in arts education and arts administration.  She has worked at both museums and nonprofit arts and reuse organizations including the Whitney, the Guggenheim, MoMA, Materials for the Arts, and Foster Pride.  Melanie holds a BA in Art and Psychology from Boston University, a MA in Art and Art Education from Teacher’s College, Columbia University, and is currently a doctoral candidate in the Art and Art Education Program at Teacher’s College. Melanie also works as an education and accessibility consultant for cultural organizations nationwide. As Co-Director of rePlay Arts, Melanie oversees the administrative and fiscal responsibilities of the organization.  

In Melanie’s free time, you can find her swimming in the river, hiking local mountains, and always making craft projects with her 10-year-old daughter and friends. She is the queen of Halloween costumes, and loves to help kids transform into the characters of their dreams! Melanie especially loves berry picking in the summer- ask her about all of the best PYO spots in the Upper Valley!
