Register today for rePlay Arts’ “Reuse Runway” summer camp program and transform materials destined for the landfill into wearable works of art!
You might make a gown out of plastic bags, armor out of bottle caps, a suit out of gum wrappers, or anything you can dream up! No art or sewing experience is required. The program will culminate in a public fashion show event for friends and family.
Reuse Runway is a week-long summer program for students age 10-14 at rePlay Arts (87 Maple Street, WRJ). Camp dates are Monday, June 23- Friday, June 27 from 9am-3pm. There will be a fashion show at the end of the week for campers to share their creations!
Why we use a Pay-What-You-Can model:
At rePlay Arts, we believe that everyone should have access to high-quality arts experiences, no matter their financial situation. That’s why all of our programs, including summer camp, are offered on a pay-what-you-can basis.
Our model is different from most other camps in the area, where costs for a week-long camp range from $350-$525. While we provide a similar caliber of creative, enriching programming, we rely on the generosity of our community rather than set fees. Reuse Runway camp follows a similar model to that of our “pay-what-you-can” art shop – you can pay whatever amount is right for you and your family. If you are on a tight budget, feel free to donate a smaller amount. And if you’re able to donate generously, you not only support your child’s experience—you also help subsidize spots for students who could otherwise not afford to attend.
